the green blog naturanal

Why this project?

We are a young couple based in Luxembourg. We are not originally from this country, yet we met here. Our green stories wish to offer not only perspectives on the region we live in (here intended as Benelux) but also suggestions of distinct ways of living we sympathise with on a global scale.

Luxembourg is the second country for sustainable-mindset living in Europe (2022 EPI results). The majority of land (85.8%, in 2020) is used for agriculture (51.3%) and forestry (34.5%) purposes. This explains why we chose to make nature and sustainability the main topics of discussion of this blog. We cannot help but filling our eyes with views of this landscape, and capturing them on camera to accompany our stories.

Luxembourg certainly is a small country — we might claim this makes it easy to manage. In this blog, we try to make sense of the kind of events and decisions that play a role in shaping this reality. In particular, we aim to have an understanding of the socio-economic and political tensions at stake in this highly developed entity.
